We need volunteers to help run a 5K fundraiser. Details below.
Note: You must sign up using the SBCHC link below. Avoid confusion when you arrive – if your group uses their own signup form, it’s not forwarded to us. We can’t certify volunteer hours for your group (or NHS, etc.) if you’re not on our list.
- When: Sun. Nov. 5, 2023; from 6:00 am to 11:30 am
- Where: Ernie Howlett Park; 25851 Hawthorne Blvd, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274
- Main Events: 8:00 am Run, 9:00 am Walk, 9:30 am Kids Fun Run. There will also be a family-friendly Health & Wellness Expo.
- What: Volunteers are needed for Expo set-up/tear down, as course marshals, at hydration stations, & with the Kids Fun Run. Jobs aren’t pre-assigned to allow flexibility in the moment, & to adjust for no-shows.
South Bay Children’s Health Center (SBCHC) is a small nonprofit in Redondo Beach providing quality dental & mental health services to more than 19,000 youth at their clinics, in local schools, & through community partners.
